Strokestown GAA is a club based in Strokestown, County Roscommon. It caters for Caranaska, Clooncagh, Cloonfree and Kiltrustan.
A good community spirit has built up over the years within the club and its environs, leading to a comprehensive integration with the local National and Secondary schools and the Strokestown Ladies Gaelic Football Club, who regularly use our facilities.
The current club grounds, Tom Shelvin Park, is situated in Lisroyne, Strokestown, and relocated from its previous home at Turn na Farren, Farnbeg, Strokestown in April 2012, after a huge investment of €1,200,000 on our new home.
In time, we hope that more and more boys and girls, men and women, will avail of our thriving club.
The last quarter-century has had loads of ups and downs. The next half-century – who knows where it will take us? If you’re reading this and you’re looking to play an active part in a vibrant club, please get in touch – we’d love to have you on board!
