Welcome to Cavan Gaels GAA Club Lotto

The club was founded in 1957 in Cavan Town, County Cavan, Ireland after the merging of 2 clubs in the town, Cavan Slashers and Cavan Harps. The name Cavan Gaels was first suggested by Hugh Doonan the late father of the 2003 Cavan Senior Football Championship winning captain James Doonan.

At Cavan Gaels GAA, community is at the heart of our club. Everything we do helps to enrich the communities we serve. As a voluntary led organisation, it is our aim to continuously fill that role for our members with the help of you and any funding that we receive.

Our goal is to encourage all members of the community to participate in GAA related activities regardless of their background. To reward commitment and participation at all ages and provide encouragement and involvement to players of all abilities, whilst ensuring a safe and protective environment for children.

Fundraising empowers our team and offers a sense of unity. It gives us that common goal to get behind, a single milestone that we can reach as a group, as a community, as a team. We are dedicated to ensuring that our family of games, and the values we live, enrich the lives of our members, families, and the community we live in.
