At Crettyard GAA, community is at the heart of our club. Everything we do helps to enrich the communities we serve. As a voluntary led organisation, it is our aim to continuously fill that role for our members with the help of you and any funding that we receive.
In the 1980s, the Crettyard football club purchased their own grounds at Moscow, Newtown. In the past 30 years a lot of hard work has gone into developing the magnificent playing facilities now available to both club members and visiting clubs. County teams have used the facilities for training and matches. The Club have a clubhouse, stand, gym, two full sized playing pitches, floodlights to inter-county standard and parking for over 500 vehicles.
Our goal is to encourage all members of the community to participate in GAA related activities regardless of their background. To reward commitment and participation at all ages and provide encouragement and involvement to players of all abilities, whilst ensuring a safe and protective environment for children.
The GAA’s values are the heart and soul of our club. In every club around the world they are what connects us, what makes us unique and what attracts more and more players, members, volunteers and supporters.
Ní neart go cur le chéile (There is no strength without working together)
