Objective
Target: To raise €300K for Extension of current small sided astro facilities to Full Size Astro Pitch

ST Joseph’s AFC is in urgent need to expand its existing astroturf facility within Pearse Park to a full-size pitch. This is due to the continued impact weather is having on all football activities. The club lotto in addition to the club loan scheme are two tools launched by the club to help us financially achieve this.

The club are engaged in talks with the county council who have recently employed contractors Paterson to relay our existing facility (stage 1) about further expansion to full size pitch (stage 2). The approximate cost of the extension is €300K and the club wish to add this extension no later than Summer 2025. The non-inclusion of such a facility is a significant strategic risk to the longevity of the club (which is in its 70th year). We call on all leaders, and members new and past to help us achieve this, so our great club can continue to create top footballers and people we can all be proud off. FTTG##
