Killinkere CLG was formed to give the parish its own football team after the GAA had been formed in 1884. Since then it has thrived and continued to grow in membership and to serve the whole Killinkere community.

We had a very successful year in 2019 where we won the county Junior Championship and opened our brand new extension of new dressing rooms, community rooms and refurbished gym.

As a rural community, Killinkere club and leisure centre serves all aspects of the community. It is a venue for sports, bingo, music classes, dancing, drama and many family and social events. There is an ethos of community and inclusion in Killinkere and we also work together with many organisations and groups across Cavan and further afield.
